StableNote helps horse owners organize care records, reminders, passport details, images, and selected sharing. This policy explains what information the app processes and why.
Information we process
Account information such as your email address and authentication identifier; waitlist details such as your email, language, and optional stable size; horse profiles, care records, Todos, breeding information, passport details, notes, images, and stable locations you choose to provide; subscription and entitlement status; and technical diagnostics needed to keep the app reliable.
How information is used
We use this information to operate the waitlist and send requested launch updates, provide synchronization, reminders, sharing, image storage, passport text recognition, subscription access, security, customer support, and crash diagnosis. StableNote does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Website analytics
The StableNote website uses Vercel Web Analytics and DataFast to measure aggregated page visits, referrers, and campaign sources. Neither uses cookies. Vercel Web Analytics removes query parameters and URL fragments before events are sent. DataFast runs in its cookieless mode: it counts visitors with an identifier derived from your IP address, browser, and our domain, combined with a value that changes about every 24 hours, so visits are not linked from one day to the next. Do not place personal information in campaign URL parameters.
Optional app analytics
The StableNote app asks before collecting product analytics. Consent is optional, starts disabled, can be changed in Privacy settings, and syncs across your devices. When enabled, StableNote sends a separate random analytics identifier and a limited set of events such as activation, reminder use, Premium-offer interactions, and feature completion to PostHog's EU service. StableNote does not send your authentication ID, email, horse or record identifiers, horse details, notes, photos, passport data, contact details, or raw URLs to product analytics. Declining does not limit the app.
Service providers
StableNote uses Vercel for website hosting and anonymous website analytics, DataFast for cookieless website analytics, Supabase for authentication and supporting storage, Convex for synchronized app data, Resend for transactional and optional update emails, RevenueCat and Apple for purchases and entitlements, PostHog for optional consented app analytics in the EU, Microsoft Azure for passport text recognition, and Sentry for technical error reporting. These providers process information only to deliver their respective services.
Sharing
Horse information is shared only when an owner uses the app's sharing feature. Invited people can view the selected horse and related records, but they cannot make changes. Do not upload information or images you do not have permission to use.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational obligations. You can delete your account and associated app data from the profile settings in StableNote. Account deletion also removes your analytics preference, PDF usage, queued analytics events, and requests deletion of the corresponding PostHog analytics data. You may also contact us for assistance.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, encrypted network connections, and provider security controls. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Your choices
You can edit or remove most records in the app, revoke shared access, control push and email update preferences, unsubscribe using a link in an update email, restore purchases, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of personal information.
Children
StableNote is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
